Jones Valley Urban Farm Sustainable Holiday Gifts and Tax-deductible Donations
This year, you can give a meaningful holiday gift that supports your green values as well as your favorite urban farm! You can help Birmingham grow organic produce and healthy communities through urban farming and education by making your gifts through us this holiday season!
In addition to our year-end tax-deductible charitable donation honorary gifts, we have special sustainable gift packages available.
- To make a donation in someone’s honor, send us their name and address with a check made out to Jones Valley Urban Farm, and we will send each of them a personalized gift card featuring a beautiful image from the Farm. These donations are 100% tax deductible and fully support JVUF programs.
- For a donation of $50 or more, you’ll receive one seat at a JVUF Second Saturday educational program, and a special bag of Jones Valley Urban Farm Blend of Higher Ground Coffee. This rich medium-roast blend is grown organically and roasted here in Birmingham. It makes a great gift or enjoy it for yourself.
- For a donation of $200 or more, you’ll receive two seats at a JVUF Second Saturday educational program, and one-of-kind Alabama Chanin handmade art T-shirt. These organic cotton earth-died shirts are hand-stitched by Natalie Chanin’s internationally-famous company and make the perfect gift for anyone that appreciates homegrown Alabama quality. Please specify size and image.
- For a donation of $500 or more, give someone you care about a share of our weekly CSA fresh produce box. From May through October, they will receive a weekly box of our beautiful organically-grown produce along with recipe ideas. Give the gift of healthy food to a family that deserves to eat well but can’t afford it. Please provide the family’s name and contact number or we can help find one for you. (CSA produce boxes can be purchased for yourself as well!)
